The Phoenix system supports both wired and wireless networks, the latter over all modern wireless standards. The charging
plans are fully configurable so you can tailor them to your precise requirements. The integrity of your guests' computers
is protected by Phoenix's firewall, and a web cache provides guaranteed high-speed access even under peak traffic conditions. |
Phoenix allows you to have multiple links to the Internet from your organisation, and can route your guests' traffic selectively
based on their credentials. You might, for example, have a conference who require exclusive access to your high-speed Internet
connection, and simultaneously have a number of individuals requiring normal web browsing facilities who can be routed through
a slower connection. If one of your connections to the Internet is via a network with restrictions on who may use it (such
as the Joint Academic NETwork), you can use Phoenix to route only approved users through this network, and your other users
via a different link to the Internet. If you choose to install a new DSL line for the system, Invest Solutions can help you with the installation and configuration
of the line, ensuring total integration with Phoenix. Invest Solutions is also able to provide consultancy services to help
you to integrate the Phoenix system with your existing hotel management system. Phoenix is compatible with a wide range of
database servers and billing software so you can use your existing database server to host the Phoenix database, or you can
use the internal database to provide a standalone solution. Phoenix's rich feature set includes:
