| Lancaster Royal Grammar School is a state voluntary aided 11 - 18 selective school of 960 boys including 160 boarders and
270 in the sixth form. It has an enviable academic record having the best A Level and GCSE results for any state school in
the North of England (2001). Over 90% of students go on to further education - thirteen gaining places at Oxford and Cambridge
Universities in 2001. The OFSTED inspectors described the range of social and cultural opportunities offered to pupils as
"exceptional". The school also has a long tradition of sporting excellence at both local and national levels. The school uses Invest Solutions Limited's content management software, Magic Content, to run its entire school website. More
than 700 pages were created in the first 12 months of operation and the site continues to receive daily updates from staff
and pupils alike. The website is an integral part of the curriculum. The School website system also includes our Who's Who
functionality for Old Lancastrians as well as Calendars, News articles and Bulletin Boards. The Who's Who has been online
since March 2002. The School website has featured an Alumni Who's Who since 1995 and then reached the national press for the
proactive approach taken to provide assistance to former pupils after their time at the School.
